Export trend

According to Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture, citing Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, the country exported 13.9 million tonnes of grain and flour in grain equivalent from September 2025 through 30 July 2026. The comparable figure for the previous season was 12.4 million tonnes.

Key destinations

The strongest growth was reported in traditional Central Asian markets and Afghanistan. Exports reached 5.8 million tonnes to Uzbekistan (+36%), 528 thousand tonnes to Kyrgyzstan (+35%), 2.4 million tonnes to Afghanistan (+57%) and 220 thousand tonnes to Turkmenistan (+32%).
